Penis enlargement surgeon to lose license

Dr Rheinschild faces possible disciplinary action and even a reprimand of his medical practice following complaints that he messed up 3 penis enlargement surgeries between 2003 and 2005. According to the press, Dr Rheinschild, aged 75, is accused of causing gross misconduct in his treatment of these 3 men and of continuing to perform surgery despite showing signs of eye problems.

Discussing his case, Rheinschild’s lead attorney claims that these complaints against his eye sight are misleading, as a Judge has already proclaimed that he is not visually incapable of performing surgery. Continuing, his attorney believes these allegations are a result of competitors endeavouring to ruin his medical reputation, and nothing more.

Are their accusations real?

Penis enhancement procedures are established for holding an element of risk, primarily causing in penile shortening and deformity, and it could be agreed that this is what occurred here.

As his attorney divulged: ‘…like any surgical procedure, there is always somebody who doesn't like the results. That is part of the risk from this kind of surgery.’

Penis enlargement surgery is not recognised as being risk free or effective by the American Urological Association, and as a result Dr Rheinschild the New York Times are agreeing that his reconstructions often go wrong.

In the records provided by the Urological Association, the three patients claimed the following information.

Case One: Client went to Urologist Dr Rheinschild for penile enhancement surgery in early 2003, and at the time uttered his worries that Dr Rheinschild seemed a bit out of sorts. Described by his medical staff as being ‘eccentric’ but the best in the country, the patient underwent surgery only to later find that the surgery had deformed his penis. Despite demanding for further surgery, Rheinschild declined to help.

Client Two: Twenty One year old patient asks for Dr Rheinschild in 2005. In his witness statement he noticed that Dr Rheinschild's fingers regularly quivered and his memory was slow. Over a month after the $8,000 surgery, the skin flap stitched on to his penis ripped open and his penis began to shorten and curve. After repetitively attempting to get a meeting with Rheinschild – who declined – the client chose to go to another cosmetic surgeon to undergo cosmetic surgery on his penis.

Case Three: Following penis enhancement surgery implemented by Dr Rheinschild, patient three repetitively pointed out of pain and a large cut after skin was taken surgically removed from his lower back to create the graft. Alongside this discomfort the claimant noticed that his penis was becoming discoloured. Despite trying to call Rheinschild continually, his messages were never returned until he threatened to take him to the Medical Board.

Will he lose his licence?

Since this accusations dating back to 2005, Dr G. Rheinschildis noted for having taken part in 100's of cosmetic surgeries without errors occurring and as a consequence, a Judge has ruled against an instant end of his licence.
Further court proceedings are penned to take place in early 2010.
