Penis enhancement surgery

Now that you’ve realized that size does matter, it’s time to get your penis bigger and fuller. But if you’re thinking about getting a penis enhancement surgery then knowledge about the surgery and what it involves is a must.

What is Penis Enhancement Surgery

Penis enlargement surgery is medically referred to as “Phalloplasty”. It is an artificial construction, reconstruction or modification of the penis through a surgery, often for cosmetic purposes.

Although this type of surgery has been available since 1990, it still remains to be a very controversial and intriguing procedure. In fact, not all plastic surgeons would like to carry out the procedure due to the risk involved as well as the unpredictable results. Penis enhancement surgery actually requires two separate procedures, including penis lengthening surgery and penis girth enhancement surgery.

Penis Lengthening Surgery

This technique is commonly done by cutting the suspensory ligament of the penis and then performing plastic surgery to provide additional skin to cover its new length. Dividing the suspensory ligament alone can increase the length to around 0.25in, while skin advancement results in an average of 0.75in more. However, a corrected penis following the procedure can result to a hard penis pointing towards the floor rather than pointing upwards during erection. This is primarily because the suspensory ligament responsible for the upward erection has already been divided, contrary to what the name suggests.

Penis Girth Enhancement Surgery

Increasing penile girth may be performed by either injecting a liposuctioned fat into the skin of the penile shaft, or by placing grafts of dermis and fat from the groin area within the penile shaft. The results of grafts seem to do better than the results of injecting liposuctioned fat. However, there is no published data that confirms the long-term results.

Associated Risk

The most dreadful thing to happen as a result of the surgery is to have a completely non-functional manhood. The harm that resulted from a penis enhancement surgery is usually permanent, which is why medical professionals do not favor the procedure. Other than disowning manhood, patients who undergo surgery are also at risk for infection, blood loss, blood clot, bruise, death of certain parts of the penis, nodule formation due to irregular fatty lumps, scrotilization of the penis, “dog ears” resulting from operation scar and sloughing of the skin used for increasing penile length.

Should I have penis enhancement surgery?

Penis enlargement surgery is apparently discouraged for three main reasons: unsafe, expensive and unguaranteed treatment. So unless you are willing to spend a phenomenal amount of money and willing to jeopardize your manhood for a much bigger penis, you’re better off several other penis enhancement techniques.

Surgery is always a last resort for anything, especially with something as invasive as penis surgery. We recommend using a penis extender - it has been proven to work in several clinical tests and is much safer and cheaper than surgery
